Who We Are
Mike & Trisha Kennamer live in Henagar, Alabama and are members of Grace Commmunity Trenton, a PCA church in Trenton, Georgia, where Mike serves as a ruling elder. They have been married since 1988 and have three grown sons. Trisha volunteers with the Tri-State Humane Society and Mike retired as a community college dean in 2022 to devote full-time attention to the ministry.

Experience
Mike & Trisha have been involved in disaster response since 2005, when their family served in Biloxi and Bay Saint Louis after Hurricane Katrina ravaged the Gulf Coast. They organized and managed disaster response efforts for sixteen months after deadly tornadoes ripped through their area in April 2011. Mike joined the MNA DR staff in 2015.
Current Role
Mike serves a dual role as manager of the Charles H. Jones Family Disaster Response Center and Regional Specialist for the Tennessee, Alabama, Georgia (TAG) Region.

As TAG Regional Specialist, he coordinates responses within the region and trains, coaches, and encourages individuals and churches to engage in disaster response. As warehouse manager, he developed, monitors, and maintains the inventory system, assuring that tools and relief supplies are always ready for deployment. He also regularly leads training sessions at the warehouse and across the region.
